Het Heilig Avondmaal representeert de handeling die Hij ondernam. De Here Jezus gaf in feite Zijn Lichaam en Zijn Bloed voor de mensheid en door middel van deze daad zijn wij in staat om niet alleen Zijn daad te herinneren, maar ook de openbaring van Zijn Geest direct tot onze geest te ontvangen.<\/p>\n<p>Het Nieuwe Testament verhaalt dat Jezus het brood in Zijn handen nam, God dankte en tegen Zijn discipelen zei:&nbsp;<em>\u201cNeemt, dit is mijn lichaam. En Hij nam een beker, sprak de dankzegging uit, en gaf hun die en zij dronken allen daaruit.
